Marie Tanaka, 2014-15 Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) in Andorra. Follow me on Instagram and Facebook.

I’m pretty awful at  keeping in touch with anyone who’s not in my immediate sight, so I figured this blog would be a nice way to let people know I’m alive.

About the Fulbright ETA:

The Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) program allows me to live in a different country (Andorra) to teach English as a second language. The Fulbright advocates for an atmosphere of exchange and understanding, and I can’t wait to speak Catalan and learn more about a culture that seems rather elusive to the average American.

About Me:

I am a 2013 Brown graduate from Boston, MA. I lived in Barcelona for a year (study abroad & semester off) and fell in love with the Catalan language and culture. Even though I’ve spent at least six years learning Spanish, I feel much more comfortable with my Catalan.
